Citing 'Time Travel,' DeLorean Hits Beauty Co. With TM Suit

Law360 (February 20, 2018, 9:30 PM EST) -- DeLorean Motor Co., set to relaunch the iconic 1980s sports car made famous in “Back to the Future,” is suing a cosmetics company for trademark infringement for using the DeLorean name on an “age-suspending” lotion.

In lawsuit filed Friday, the automaker claimed New York City-based Elysian Cosmetics LLC was using its name on a line of “Age-Suspending Treatment Primer” products to capitalize on the “time-travel" cachet associated with DeLorean.
