9th Circ. Affirms Enhanced Fraud Sentence Of Ex-IRS Worker

Law360 (February 27, 2018, 4:29 PM EST) -- A California federal court followed proper guidelines by accounting for special tax preparation skills when it sentenced a former IRS employee convicted of tax fraud, a Ninth Circuit panel held Monday, applying a two-step test to conclude the defendant met the sentencing criteria.
