Smithfield May Be Liable For Swine Flu: Suit

Law360 (May 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The husband of the first U.S. resident to die from swine flu has filed a petition in Texas state court seeking permission to investigate wrongful death claims against Smithfield Foods Inc., which owns a large pig farm in Mexico.
