Three, Vodafone Hit With UK Net Neutrality Violation Probe

Law360 (March 6, 2018, 8:22 PM EST) -- The United Kingdom’s telecom regulator is investigating Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. and Vodafone Ltd. for potential violations of the European Union’s new net neutrality regulations against throttling and other data practices, the agency announced Tuesday.

The U.K.’s Office of Communications, referred to as Ofcom, said it had launched the probes after analyzing evidence gathered in tandem with its new net neutrality program, which aims to enforce the E.U.’s Open Internet Access Regulation from 2015.
