Judge Bars Some Evidence From Comair Crash Case

Law360 (May 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has barred any mention of settlement offers in one of the wrongful death cases brought against Comair Inc. following a 2006 plane crash in Lexington, Ky., that killed 49 people.

Judge Karl S. Forester of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky on Tuesday granted some of Comair’s motions in limine, including its bid to prevent any discussion or testimony regarding settlement offers, negotiations or attempts.
