AmeriFirst Ex-Director Gets 15 Months, New Charges

Law360, New York (May 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former managing director of defunct AmeriFirst Funding Inc. was handed a 15-month prison sentence Wednesday over charges of making false statements to obtain a passport, a day after the release of criminal allegations that the ex-director led a scheme to peddle as much as $55 million in fraudulent securities to elderly citizens.
