Texas Detention Center Accused Of Abusing African Detainees

The legal services asserted in a report published on Thursday that some 30 Somali men at the West Texas Detention Facility in Sierra Blanca, Texas, had been physically and sexually abused, subject to indiscriminate use of pepper spray, placed in unnecessary solitary confinement, denied access to health care and forced to face unsafe and unsanitary conditions.
