Tesoro Settles Wash. OT Class Action

By Leigh Kamping-Carder (May 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tesoro Refining and Marketing Co. has reached a $950,000 settlement with a class of over 250 operations and maintenance employees who worked at one of its refineries and sued the petroleum product company over years' worth of alleged unpaid overtime violations.

Judge Robert S. Lasnik signed an order on Tuesday preliminarily approving the settlement in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, approving the next step in a resolution process that began in October.
