Trump Signs Amber Alert Expansion On Tribal Lands

Law360, Washington (April 16, 2018, 12:34 PM EDT) -- The federal government is set to start expanding the Amber Alert program on tribal lands after President Donald Trump signed a bill Friday that would give Native American tribes more access to federal funds for the program.

The bill, the Amber Alert in Indian Country Act of 2017, passed the Senate last month after bouncing between both chambers of Congress multiple times.
