Dorsey & Whitney Adds Trial Pro As Partner To Dallas Office

Law360 (April 17, 2018, 8:36 PM EDT) -- Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced Monday that it has hired away an attorney who launched his own firm 12 years ago to join its trial group in Dallas as a partner.

Mike Gruber left the firm he co-founded in 2006 — Gruber Hail Johansen Shank LLP — and he told Law360 on Tuesday that his understanding is that the firm will be winding down sometime in the future.

"Everybody is kind of looking to do something different, and I think each of us is going to go their own way," he said. "I don't know how quickly that will happen ......
