KFTC Launches Probe Into Qualcomm Chipset Sales

Law360 (May 28, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Korean Fair Trade Commission is reportedly investigating possible anti-competitive business practices related to Qualcomm Inc.'s chipset sales.

The KFTC on Wednesday began probing whether Qualcomm has been bundling products and paying chipset customers rebates and discounts, Dow Jones Newswires reported.

A Qualcomm representative said the company believes its actions in Korea have been lawful.
