Fulbright & Jaworski Ducks Sanction In Envelope Tiff

Law360 (June 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has declined to disqualify attorneys from Fulbright & Jaworski LLP after nonparty Staples Inc. waded into an envelope trademark case with accusations that the firm disclosed evidence in violation of a protective order.

Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Ellis' one-page ruling, issued Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, also declined to hold the attorneys in contempt.
