Literary Agency Bookkeeper Accused Of Embezzling $3.4M

Law360, New York (May 15, 2018, 6:25 PM EDT) -- A longtime Donadio & Olson Inc. bookkeeper was charged with wire fraud in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, accused of stealing about $3.4 million from the agency known for representing “Fight Club” author Chuck Palahniuk and others.

Darin Webb, 47, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Moses and was released on $200,000 bail secured by real estate in Possum Hills, Texas. Judge Moses imposed the real estate security as a condition of release, citing risk of flight.
