Will Sotomayor Be Kind To Employers?

Law360 (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- It is likely that President Obama’s recent nomination of Circuit Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor will be approved by the Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate, unless some unknown skeleton appears from her closet. Now the guessing game begins — how will Justice Sotomayor treat employers from the bench?

Sotomayor comes with a long history on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, having served on that bench since 1998. During that time she has taken part in over 100 written decisions involving labor and employment law.
