Starbucks Wins Challenge To $105M Barista Award

Law360, New York (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California appeals court has overturned a judge's order that Starbucks Corp. reimburse its baristas more than $105 million in tips the coffee giant had doled out to shift supervisors, saying the company's tip-allocation policy did not break any state laws.
