Greenberg Traurig Probed Over Work For Heller

Law360 (June 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Weeks after acknowledging they are being investigated in connection with their representation of Heller Ehrman LLP – the venerated San Francisco firm that imploded last year – attorneys at Greenberg Traurig LLP have applied for more than $400,000 in payments five months into the Heller bankruptcy.

And another fee filing from another firm working the case, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California, suggests the investigation into Greenberg Traurig is taking up lawyers' time and resources.
