BALCA Affirms H-2B Labor Cert Denial For Construction Co.

Law360 (May 21, 2018, 10:11 PM EDT) -- A Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals judge on Friday affirmed the denial of eight temporary worker visas to a Nebraska-based stone construction company after agreeing that it failed to clearly show why the workers were necessary.

Table Rock Stone LLC’s had initially requested eight H-2B temporary workers because of a peak-load need for extra help with construction projects between mid-April and mid-December.
