Ex-Trump Adviser To Be Sentenced In Russia Probe

By Chuck Stanley (May 24, 2018, 8:24 PM EDT) -- Former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos has agreed with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to proceed to sentencing for making false statements to the FBI, a move white collar attorneys say means Papadopoulos' cooperation with the special counsel is probably complete.

U.S. District Judge Randolph D. Moss on Wednesday ordered a presentence investigation report for Papadopoulos to be delivered by Aug. 1, in response to a joint request from prosecutors and the former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser.
