Takeda Wins Attorneys Fees In Patent Suit

Law360 (September 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge ruled on Wednesday that two generic drug companies that infringed on Takeda’s patent for a diabetes treatment must pay its attorneys fees as well.

In a 51-page opinion and order, Judge Denise J. Cote of the U.S. District Court of Manhattan granted Takeda’s motion for an award of attorneys fees against Alphapharm Pty. Ltd. and Mylan Laboratories Inc.
