Gibson Dunn Picks Up Morgan Lewis Supreme Court Star

Law360 (June 4, 2018, 5:59 PM EDT) -- The appellate lawyer who argued for Oil States in this term's seminal U.S. Supreme Court case challenging the constitutionality of America Invents Act reviews has left Morgan Lewis & Bockius for Gibson Dunn & Crutcher as of Monday, according to Gibson Dunn.

Allyson N. Ho, one of the nation's preeminent appellate lawyers and a former Supreme Court clerk, is moving her practice to Gibson Dunn, the former home of recently confirmed Fifth Circuit Judge James Ho, her spouse. Ho will lead the firm's appellate practice within Texas from a Dallas office base, the firm said.
