BofA Chief Called On The Carpet Over Merrill Buyout

Law360 (June 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bank of America Corp. CEO Kenneth Lewis has been summoned to testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on the bank's buyout of Merrill Lynch & Co. and the federal government's subsequent $20 billion bailout payment made to solidify the deal.
