Ill. Doctor Beats Stroke Patient's Negligence Suit

Law360 (June 12, 2018, 8:58 PM EDT) -- A doctor preparing to treat a woman who suffered a stroke had no responsibility to order a special procedure be performed on the patient while she awaited transfer from another hospital, an Illinois appeals court said Monday, upholding the dismissal of the patient's negligence suit.
