Akerman Real Estate Chair Eyes Texas, Keeps Culture Close

Law360 (June 19, 2018, 7:49 PM EDT) -- Eric Rapkin, Akerman LLP's real estate chair who took over the post earlier this year, has an ambitious vision for continued growth in Texas and beyond, but told Law360 in a recent interview that in his view, maintaining firm culture is more important than new books of business.

Akerman, long a Florida powerhouse, has expanded to become a national real estate player with a presence in various U.S. markets and four offices in Texas — in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. And Rapkin told Law360 he's eyeing additional growth there.
