Doe Run Loses Bid To Realign Insurance Spat

Law360 (June 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Lead producer Doe Run Resources Corp. has lost a second bid to realign a case against Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co., a move that would have destroyed diversity in the case over personal injury suits and opened it up to dismissal.

Judge Charles A. Shaw of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on Tuesday refused to certify an interlocutory appeal of his April decision not to realign the dispute.
