Beatty Seeks Green Light For Dick Tracy Suit

Law360 (June 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Actor Warren Beatty has asked the court overseeing media giant Tribune Co.'s Chapter 11 case to let his suit against a Tribune unit over movie and television rights to detective character Dick Tracy move forward, claiming that a district court in California is the best forum for the dispute.
