Fla. Law Firm Facing Suit Over Debt Collection Disclosures

Law360 (July 10, 2018, 7:00 PM EDT) -- A South Florida law practice was hit with a putative class action in federal court Monday alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act for stating incorrect and confusing information in the disclosures within a debt collection notice.

Plaintiff Victor Gabbai filed suit against the Fort Lauderdale-based Law Office of Catherine Roselli and as yet unknown individuals and companies for which Roselli attempted to collect debts.
