Jury Confusion Prompts New UPenn Med Mal Trial, Court Says

Law360 (July 11, 2018, 10:37 PM EDT) -- A split Pennsylvania appeals panel has approved a new trial in a suit that accused a University of Pennsylvania hospital of negligently treating a woman following surgery and causing brain bleeding and permanent injuries, saying defense counsel asked improper questions that may have confused the jury.
