Dozens Object To Lehman's Claim Cutoff Motion

Law360 (June 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A flood of creditors in the Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. bankruptcy, including global bank UBS AG and the state of Arizona, have objected to the fine print in the collapsed financial giant's attempt to cut off proofs of claim by Aug. 24.

Dozens of objections, filed Thursday and Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, say the details of Lehman's proposed deadline for filing proofs of claim are unclear, unreasonable and unfair.
