Citibank Workers Seek Class For State OT Claims

Law360, New York (June 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former Citibank NA employee has asked a court to certify a class of workers tasked with recruiting new businesses to take part in the company's Bank at Work program who allege the bank misclassified them as exempt from federal and state overtime laws.

The motion, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, seeks certification for individuals hired as "Citibank at Work relationship managers" in California for the suit's state overtime and other labor claims.
