Settlement OK'd In AT&T Techs' Overtime Suit

Law360, New York (June 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has signed off on a $525,000 settlement between AT&T Operations Inc. and a class of computer technicians who accused the company of denying overtime pay in violation of California labor laws.

Magistrate Judge William McCurine Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California on Tuesday granted final approval of the $525,000 settlement between 20 current and former employees of AT&T and its long-distance carrier unit, SBC Long Distance LLC.
