Saxon Slaps Panasonic, Others With Patent Suit

Law360, New York (June 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intellectual property licensing company Saxon Innovations LLC has taken aim at several defendants, including Casio Computer Co. Ltd., Panasonic Corp. and Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd., in an infringement suit over several patents related to communications and other technology.

Saxon filed its suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, targeting two Casio entities, four Kyocera Corp. entities, two Sanyo entities, two Sierra Wireless Inc. entities, four Panasonic entities and UTStarcom Inc.
