CVS Unit's E-Ferol Insurance Spat Moved To Texas

Law360, New York (June 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has approved transferring an insurance dispute between Federal Insurance Co. and CVS Revco DS Inc. concerning the insurer's obligation to cover costs arising from a class action over E-Ferol, a toxic vitamin solution given to premature infants in the mid-1980s.

Judge Kathleen M. O’Malley granted CVS Revco's motion to transfer on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, sending the case to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, where the class action is proceeding....
