Firm Strikes Back At Chinese Drywall Committee In Fee Row

Law360 (August 8, 2018, 9:22 PM EDT) -- Parker Waichman LLP on Wednesday swung back at the fee committee in Chinese drywall multidistrict litigation after it had sought to disqualify the committee's chair and co-chair over the allocation of legal fees, telling a Louisiana federal judge a reasonable person would question whether the committee is doing its job.

The firm is seeking to disqualify the fee committee’s chair and co-chair and asked for leave to file a reply to the committee’s recent salvo in the fee dispute. Parker Waichman said that the committee is attacking it for having the “audacity” to demand due process and transparency.
