Wash. Tells High Court Tribal Treaty Doesn't Negate Fuel Tax

Law360 (August 10, 2018, 4:41 PM EDT) -- A Washington state agency told the U.S. Supreme Court that a Yakama Nation-connected company should not be immune from the state's fuel taxes collected outside of the tribe's reservation, arguing the state Supreme Court got it wrong when it found the tribe's treaty included an exemption.
