Sequenom Faces Slew Of Shareholder Suits

Law360, New York (June 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Proposed securities class actions are continuing to pile up against Sequenom Inc. and its executives over allegedly overhyped and fraudulent statements the genetic analysis company made regarding a prenatal test it developed to screen for Down syndrome.

Bruce H. Littman became the latest investor to launch a suit against the company when he filed a complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
