Hogan Lovells Nabs Ex-GE Capital Lead Counsel As Partner

Law360 (September 10, 2018, 6:29 PM EDT) -- Hogan Lovells has hired GE Capital's lead bankruptcy lawyer, the firm announced Monday, as part of a broader push to beef up the firm's business restructuring and insolvency practice and focus more on the lender side of restructurings.

Douglas Taber will join Hogan Lovells as a partner in its New York office, after 17 years filling various roles as in-house counsel at GE Capital. Taber's title as of his departure was lead executive counsel for restructuring and banking.
