Top Groups Lobbying The FCC

Law360 (September 10, 2018, 8:10 PM EDT) -- The month of August saw a waning of ex parte filings at the Federal Communications Commission, but those who did comment focused on rules governing local infrastructure deployment, strategies to eliminate unwanted phone calls and other policy issues.

Over those four weeks, the Federal Communications Commission received 142 ex parte filings, which are lobbying-focused communications from companies and organizations that detail conversations and meetings with agency staffers. In other recent months, lobbyists have filed about 200 to 250 ex partes.
