Contractor Sues School District For $9M Over Building Deal

Law360 (September 13, 2018, 8:25 PM EDT) -- A contractor sued a Houston-area school district for more than $9 million Wednesday in Texas state court over the construction of a new elementary school, claiming the school district's project manager made “arbitrary and capricious” decisions that cost the builder.

Paradigm Construction LLC claims the Huffman Independent School District breached their contract and violated state law by bringing in an inexperienced company to oversee the $21 million project, according to its complaint filed in Harris County District Court.
