High Court Won't Hear Chevron's Ecuador Appeal

Law360, New York (June 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear Chevron Corp.'s appeal of a ruling that Ecuador's state-owned oil company does not have to share liability for $27 billion in potential damages over alleged environmental contamination in the Amazon rain forest.
