Law360, London (October 2, 2018, 4:53 PM BST) -- Britain's Serious Fraud Office said Tuesday it will not challenge a landmark appellate ruling that found legal privilege protected advice a law firm gave mining giant ENRC before it faced a corruption investigation by the white-collar crime agency.
The decision means that the Court of Appeal's September decision will stand, and that the SFO cannot demand materials from an internal investigation commissioned by Eurasian Natural Resources Corp. Ltd. from its external counsel at Dechert LLP.
