Law360 (October 10, 2018, 9:59 PM EDT) -- New York state's new standards for how businesses should structure anti-sexual harassment policies and conduct newly mandated training sessions took effect on Tuesday, leaving employers in the Empire state with a fresh batch of potential compliance headaches.

New York’s update of its workplace sexual harassment law was included as part of the state’s 2019 budget, which was signed into law by Gov. Andrew Cuomo in April.
