Immucor, J&J Face Another Antitrust Class Action

Law360, New York (July 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Inc. and rival Immucor Inc. have been hit with another proposed class action alleging they conspired to fix prices for blood reagents in the U.S.

St. Barnabas Hospital, a 461-bed hospital in the Bronx, N.Y., filed the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, becoming the latest purchaser of blood reagents to file antitrust claims against the companies in recent months.
