Kinder Morgan Seeks Docs In $160M Fuel Plume Suit

Law360, New York (July 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP is trying to compel discovery to substantiate the city of San Diego's damages claims of more than $160 million, in a lawsuit alleging the pipeline giant has dragged its feet on cleaning up a fuel plume that contaminated groundwater.

In a motion filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, Kinder Morgan asked that the court require the city to amend its discovery responses and produce documents within 10 days.
