Outback Steakhouse Plaintiffs Win FLSA Class Cert.

Law360, New York (July 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted class certification in a Fair Labor Standards Act suit accusing the Outback Steakhouse chain of failing to pay minimum wage to employees at one of its locations.

Judge Ronald Guzman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Wednesday granted class certification on the plaintiffs' FLSA claims, but denied it on their claims of violations of Illinois state wage laws.
