UnitedHealth Nears Deal In $14M Underpayment Suit

Law360, New York (July 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- United HealthCare Insurance Co. has come close to reaching a settlement with Total Sleep Diagnostics Inc. and several subsidiaries that accused the insurance giant of failing to reimburse them for as much as $14 million for services and equipment.

Judge Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on Monday signed an order noting that the parties had reached a compromise and dismissed the case without prejudice.
