Attys Nab $5.9M For Negotiating $19.7M Price-Fix Settlements
Law360 (November 21, 2018, 6:43 PM EST) -- A Michigan federal judge on Wednesday awarded $5.9 million in fees and expenses to attorneys who worked on obtaining $19.7 million in settlements with Mitsubishi Electric and Furukawa in litigation alleging auto parts companies conspired to fix the price of wire harness products.
U.S. District Judge Marianne O. Battani issued the award for attorneys representing direct purchasers in a price fixing suit over the electrical distribution systems and related products.
