Boutique Loses IP Team To McDermott Will & Emery

Law360 (October 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After rifling through a Chicago intellectual property boutique, McDermott Will & Emery has nabbed eight lawyers for its IP, media and technology department.

The eight attorneys, who boost the firm’s Chicago IP practice to nearly 30 lawyers, have joined McDermott from boutique Wallenstein & Wagner. Partners Daniel Christus, Jeffrey Gargano, Matthew Gryzlo, Brent Hawkins and Peter Siavelis; counsel Monique Morneault; and associates Brett Bachtell and Alissa Misun have all come on board.
