Law360 (February 25, 2019, 1:19 PM EST) -- Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP rescued a case brought by a proposed class of at least 700,000 drivers accusing General Motors and Bosch of selling trucks with emissions-cheating systems from dismissal, earning the firm a spot among Law360's 2018 Automotive Groups of the Year.
U.S. District Judge Thomas Ludington's 76-page order in February 2018 mowed down both GM's and Bosch's motions to throw out the Fenner v. GM lawsuit and upheld claims leveled against the two auto industry giants under state consumer laws.
The firm also successfully defended fraud claims the suit asserted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act....
