Charter's Unsecured Creditors OK Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (July 17, 2009, 2:16 PM EDT) -- Charter Communications Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has voiced its approval for the bankrupt cable giant's plan of reorganization, as the deadline to collect votes in support of the plan draws closer.

In a statement filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the committee asked Judge James M. Peck to confirm the restructuring proposal.
