Pa. Panel OKs Consolidation In Elliott Greenleaf Fee Dispute

Law360 (January 23, 2019, 5:24 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court has rejected an ex-Elliott Greenleaf PC attorney’s bid to upend the consolidation of two lawsuits filed in Philadelphia and a neighboring jurisdiction over how to divide fees from a personal injury case the attorney originated before decamping from the firm.

The Superior Court panel said Tuesday that a trial judge had gotten it right when he ruled that the fee dispute was more closely associated with Montgomery County, the suburb where Elliott Greenleaf is headquartered and where the firm filed suit last May seeking a declaration that its one-time attorney Richard DeMarco was not entitled to fees...
